The Quarter means community and we want our venue to become a place of celebration for Old Strathcona and Edmonton.
Whyte Avenue is the most vibrant and active pedestrian-oriented shopping district in Edmonton. There are over 600 businesses in the area including bars, restaurants, performing arts theatres and boutique shops. We are also just steps from some of the most iconic Edmonton events including the Fringe Festival, Whyte Avenue Art Walk, Strathcona Farmers Market and more. Our founders were married in a since-closed downtown Edmonton wedding space and what they loved most about their venue was that their guests could walk to cafes, restaurants, and hotels before and after the wedding.
Their own special day was beautifully shaped by the liveliness that is unique to urban areas and they wanted to recreate that same feeling for others. Having travelled to many major cities in the world including Buenos Aires, Rio De Janeiro, New York, Vancouver, Toronto, Barcelona, Bangkok and Rome, they believe Whyte Avenue has something uniquely special to offer weddings and events of all types.
